Terms & Conditions - The basics

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Hyperlocal Rwanda Ltd., a company registered in Rwanda under the Rwandan Development Board, with offices at Norrsken House Kigali, 1KN 78 St, Kiyovu.

1. Booking and Payment

For our ready-to-book packages, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm most bookings. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the tour.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card. Any transaction fees are the client’s responsibility.

2. Cancellation Policy

30 days or more before departure: 70% refund.
15-29 days before departure: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
All cancellations must be made in writing.

3. Changes to Bookings

Any changes to bookings requested by the client may be subject to availability and additional fees.
Hyperlocal Rwanda reserves the right to make minor itinerary adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, safety concerns, or local events.

4. Liability

Hyperlocal Rwanda Ltd. is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
The company will not be liable for any changes, cancellations, or delays beyond its control, including those caused by weather, political issues, or natural disasters.

5. Health and Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in the chosen itinerary. Hyperlocal Rwanda is not liable for any incidents resulting from pre-existing health conditions.
Clients must follow all health and safety guidelines provided by guides and staff.

6. Travel Insurance

It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and loss of personal property.

7. Passports and Visas

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary documentation, including passports and visas, for entry into Rwanda. Hyperlocal Rwanda does not offer visa services.

8. Privacy Policy

Hyperlocal Rwanda respects your privacy and will handle all personal information per Rwandan data protection regulations. Personal information will only be used to manage bookings and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Rwandan law. Any disputes will be resolved in Rwandan courts.

By booking with Hyperlocal Rwanda Ltd., clients agree to these Terms and Conditions.
